  • Hard News: The sole party of government, in reply to Craig Ranapia,

I’m really sorry a plurality of voters didn’t put their ticks where you’d prefer they do, but welcome to my world in 1999, 2002 and 2005. It happens; I hope everyone gets through their grieving process soon.

For me it's nothing to do with the process, it's the blatant corruption that National have been managing to blind many people with. I find none of it acceptable and National are the experts at pulling the wool over peoples eyes. If that is what good government is in your eyes, I see how you vote. Trouble is I thought you were better than that and the likes of Barry happily stooping to that gutter with bells on disgusts me also. I'm all good with best choice etc but corruption and black ops shit is the lowest. So yeah, I'll sleep happy enough knowing I would never support the dirtiest Government I've seen in this country. Utter gutter Government .They are disgusting

Labour has to be so many things to so many people and when they upset one set of voters they pay with votes. Piss 3 groups off .....

If compulsory voting is adopted, there surely should be a ‘no vote’ option also.

Yes ok. Spoil it if it works for you e.g Fuk John Key :)

From friends experience, it'd be nice to make it easier in rural areas that don't even have access to a bus service. Kaitaia doesn't have traffic lights let alone any way for people out in the boondocks to get to a polling station in a town centre. Along Doubtless Bay locals thought it may have been at Taipa College. Didn't know of anywhere else . Didn't matter anyway ,petrol was tight and it was needed to get the kids around the next week. Its 10k to the one and only dairy out our way and then 20k to an area close to where polling may be. Then 20 +k to get back. The dairy were saying ,they used to get candidates. Noone this year.

Nah that's right I'm sure. My point is Labour's common idea Is all good in my book. And TV3 news just now need to grow up. To say "have you confidence in DC?, I'd respond "Do you have confidence in Key, Slater and Collins. Start throwing it back in the reporters face.

What that says to me is the swing was in favour of keeping the Government honest. And they nearly got there.

Maybe they are waiting for our "rockstar" Economy to overdose.

“Dad just died!”“Oh dear, do you you need me to contact a funeral director?”“No, a real estate agent, we only have ninety days to sell the house!”

This is a great joke. It should catch on. needs tweetin' for those that do it.
    LOL! :))
    Not quite that but,
My mum died and 3 months later I take our house off the Market. Never thought of it like that. But, I'm happy to sell ours in a month or so, even if capital gains was taxed but it wouldn't as it's my family home. My Mum and Dad's (partially mine now.) can stay until the last family member goes. It's for family. There is nothing wrong with contributing to make society fair. It's only the selfish or greedy that seem to have a problem
