"gives the impression that the Bali conference was debating whether climate change is real or not."
I can't understand how they get that impression. Are they guided by this biased group NZCSC to obsfucate the facts or are they fundys themselves in their blinkered willful ignorance.
Because dollars count more than sense, here is a link to the $100 Million USD garanted to projects that mention Climate Change in their name.

Is the Listner seriouls taking a postion against the exsitence of Global warming?

WTF - that was a pretty brief and muted article, but a totally accurate one.
NZCSC are a bunch of old contrarians who are right in that climate change won't effect them.
How is Hansford?

Someone mentioned 'Vogons' before & I would love to see it more widely use rather than 'Bureaucrat' in the prejoritive.
This at least explains my slam(ed) poetry.

Has Nicky Hagers writing improved?
"Secret Power" cured my insomnia for a while with its heavy language written in a pretty Stalinist style.

I went a long to a lecture on the Divinci Code and Jesus by an AU/AUT (?) lecturer of no note.
Part way through and a wee religious bias was clear. He could only use the bible as a primary source (ok), but wouldn't address the possibility of an unwed mum Mary or a gay Jesus, to explain Jesus not being married.
He took the Divinci Code far too seriously and as a threat to History (& I think his faith).

I think the Progressives, Greens, Maori, & Act (as least Rodney) are going to try to keep things civil, wanting to play the ball rather than the 'man'.
I hope this holds and they're rewarded for it.
We known United Future would like to be seen this way but there is a little matter of someones ego to get over.

"the new holiday pay legislation means a flat white on Anzac Day costs $4.20 instead of $3.50"
On ANZAC day the only acceptable coffee is a Coffee Royal (or what ever it's called) Coffee & Rum. Start the day the way you mean to go on.

"Which makes me think it's not just men who are conflicted about whether it's a private act."
It's not men, it's you Ben ; )
Seriously though - It's rude to ask a question of someone eating and thereby forcing them to gulp their food, or to speak with their mouth open. So too if someone is otherwise engaged they may wish to concerntrate on more important things. Just wing it.
