George Monbiot's article about death denial makes for interesting reading when pointing the finger at some deniers

anyone ever been to a sports event when say the All Blacks aren't winning....

there is always a slight chance that an evening in a nightclub will lead to sex with another human thus people will endure any sort of treatment to get in on that action (you think people go clubbing for music - well some do, me for one and we go home sad and lonely)
imagine if the same could be said of music stores - think they'd be closing... hell no!

Bob/Rob we're all the same under the hood
as for DRM, it was always flawed, treating the declining number of legal music consumers as potential crooks by limiting what they could do with their purchase only lead to many millions simply giving up on buying music - alongside other media that can be digitalised
treat your customers with respect and they will (generally) return that trust - music industry failing #1

Getting excited about multiple price points at the iTunes Store is like being thrilled there are three price points at the gas station. Or losing your cookies that Coke comes in multiple-sized cups at 7-11.
As for being DRM-free... Whoopee! As I've stated countless times, the only people who care about DRM don't pay for music, they just steal it. Otherwise, Amazon would have eclipsed Apple and the Seattle company would own the online music market, not the one based in Cupertino.

based on my tastes I'm voting green, nice
whilst I will miss RG if it goes... I like many of my music buying friends stopped going there a long time ago as its easier, quicker and cheaper to buy online and get ya vinyl shipped to NZ
retail (physical) for music in centres the size we have in this country simply isn't viable I would suggest
