In related news. Don't you think it was disrespectful and rude to ask about the Peters issue when Condoleezza Rice was in town? The news article on TV3 was inappropriate. Duncan Garner had no right to ask questions about internal politics when we had a foreign government representative at the press conference.
Bad form!

The Jacquie Brown Diaries works -- it really works!
I wouldn't go quite that far. It has promised and some really good bits but seemed to try a little hard in places. Doesn't "New Zealand's best light news presenter" smell a little like "New Zealand's 4th best comedy folk duo"?
We are definitely going to give it another go - There were some genuinely funny bits but it just seemed a little flat in places.

Initial iPhone review wouldn't be complete without at least some small props to Karl from Cactus Lab or in his other guise as xk72 has released Mobile Flickr.
Great app for browsing/uploading photos to Flickr from your iPhone.

I did a comparison to nzherald.co.nz and stuff.co.nz. It would also be interesting put that on a graph along with the comparative Nielsen data and see just how accurate they are for the bigger sites.
Also the tv3 graph is really interesting - I think in the long run moving news away from the general tv content is a good thing for the user.

Note to Eden coffee: You should pre-fill the coupon code when you click-through - I didn't see the code on the ad the first time as it was a rotating series of images. And make a special landing page which targets PA readers. I've just put ordering from them in the too hard basket.

New AirNZ System + Mux Tape would be pretty cool. Share your playlists and listen to other peoples iPods. Then have a link to buy the song of iTunes...The possibilities are endless. You could also download city guides to the iPod Touch and do all sorts of other interesting things once you have the device connected.
@nic.wise I booked Virgin America for a flight because I wanted to check out the in flight system which is meant to be great. 2 days before flying I get an email saying it won't be switched on during the flight! Nooooooo!

The Facebook interview was painful for the first 48 minutes (I was there live and in person.) Mark just kept on repeating the line "Facebook is a platform to help people connect and communicate effectively". Once the crowd turned on Sarah though it was pretty funny. She shouldn't have fought the crowd like she did, one person can't win against 2000 audience members.
