I've just spent my tax cut on a substantial gin and tonic.
I wonder how long before they roll JK. -
It's quite ironic that the Nats end up holding the baby.
And more to the point, a money dealer.

Thank you Helen for all you have done for us.

Steve - I wanted you to work that one out for yourself about Roger. Almost the most beautiful news of the evening. It has suited Clark to picture him as some kind of ogre but the reality is that he cares deeply about raising all boats
Yes, he has lots of friends with boats. I sailed on Alan Gibbs boat with him back in the late 80s. I don't often get sick at sea but the memory of that day still raises the bile.

Steve, you mean about the cricket, right?
.
Enjoy your tax cuts, you can tell your starving grandchildren how wonderful and fulfilling they were while you shiver around a burning pile of worthless, soiled bank notes.
There will be a wailing of desperate souls and a gnashing of teeth as we sink into the horror of the end of days. We will trudge endlessly into the abyss to the sounds of crying children. All is darkness. abandon all hope, all is lost.
Opener Simon Katich struck an unbeaten 92 to move Australia to 189 for two at stumps. -
The final kick in the nuts. Rodger fucking Douglas. Even the US is looking good now. Oh well, let's look on the bright side .........................................................................?
I'll let you know when I see it. -
How can so many people be so wrong?

Holograms on TV
Steve, just some fluffy free marketing for their real-world application.
Hadn't thought of that but it's still like magicians on TV. It kind of makes me go "Whatever" which doesn't quite work as a promotion. eh?
-
Can't it be both?
My bad. Of course, it could be all three.

I do wonder whether we'll see John Campbell in hologram form though. That would be awesome.
Holograms on TV.
Totally pointless or just a con and a gimmick?
I would imagine the equipment to produce a half decent hologram would bear a hefty price tag and who watching TV would be able to tell a real hologram from a CGI effect? It is, either, a simple TV trick or there are some TV producers out there with poo for brains.
