Hard News: Dirty Politics, in reply to
Mandy Hager sends Patrick Gower and most of the media to the sin bin for their lack of action over #dirtypolitics.
Good. Every day I see yet again nothing happens about the revelations in Nicky Hager’s book. Who did Rawshark give what? Waiting,…. nothing, and as Mandy Hager notes, Gower twitter yawns. What a big effort he’s making there, so big, he exposes himself for what he stands for, absolutely nothing. I now find our media quite disgusting because of their efforts regarding the information in Nicky Hager’s book. It is quite pathetic. I’m still enjoying some blogs tho’ . We get some truths around here eh? Would be good to see a Journalist join forces with a Blogger and see if it could be put to good use rather than the slime regurgitated so successfully through Slater and those (like Jared Savage and other Herald writers) exposed in Dirty Politics. I am however truly amazed that the public are swayed to just not care. Seems too bizarre to me to not want truth in ones life. Seems doubly bizarre that NZ doesn’t do outrage when our democracy is eroding on a daily basis. What’s todays? Oh there it is, Terrorists are under the bed
At least David Fisher tries He seems alone. Kudos for his effort. -

Oh, and also: the reporter Cheryl Howie ursued Bevan Chuang for comment on the story. What did they expect she’d say?
Is there a Mayoral Election any time soon? I noticed Banks getting Kudos in the Herald over the last couple of weeks. That would explain this smear of Len. The guns have been hired?
I suppose then , a bit of balance in the wings then. -

By the comment “we renovated” I assume you did not pay commercial rates for builders (and joiners) and the ever lovely plumbers at 30-50$ per hour.
This comment sounds so many shades of wrong.
FFS. Pick your budget. Go with that. Shop around. Not everyone needs to watch the Bloody Block. Unless of course the human population is bereft of ideas with a need for just one more season. -
Herald mentions the Select Committee submissions.

Without Select Committee it will be a shit piece of rushed through poorly drafted legislation. With Select Commitee it could be legislation that may help us have a better than shit inevitable legislation because it will go through no matter what. Labour do it this way, they always have but it never stops me from telling Goff what I think and this week is a good one to make your point expressing how untrustworthy National are and how dangerous this could be to our democracy and Goff of all people is in the perfect position to bombard him reminding him of how it turns to custard if National get their way. If people don’t communicate with our Mps, how on earth will they know our feelings. One can’t rely on them reading blogs to hear your views. They are all easy to write to . National are pointless puppets, Green are converted, it’s up to people to complain to the ones that can get change to the legislation if nothing else, Dunne Maori and Labour possibly NZF. Seymour is just a seat filler. Labour/ Greens on their own cannot stop this.

Labour voted at the first reading to force it to go to select Committee stage so that it can be scrutinised . Write to your Mp or anyone you want to complain. Express yourself somewhere that might make a difference. Or, don't. It is obvious that it's pointless trying any National puppet though

I think that if that’s not very probably bullshit, then it’s very actually bullshit.
He may not have been wearing his Mr PM hat. Yesterday Winston was calling him out and calling it bovine faeces

Cameron Slater: Yup…I’m very angry over it…Goff is the one who leaked oravida stuff too.
A, Labour have the right to talk to media . Oravida is a personal issue with Collins taking advantage of her standing to influence an outcome. I'd be telling the media myself. and B, you'd be only angry if you support Collins whose hiding something. Does anyone get the impression that Collins is out to tarnish Key too. Paybacks are a bitch and hell hath no fury like a cold bucket of sick in ya face.
