Cell phones and Aircraft don't mix & it becomes a serious issue when visual cues are absent, ie night or cloud.
The Ansett Piolts who crashed out of Palmy weren't prosecuted (eventually), because there was conflicting evidence about this. Specifically that the 'hero' with his cell phone directing the emergency crews to the crash site, was the cause of the crash for using his cellphone and locking the instruments in place as they flew through cloud above hills.

Police had to taser a man yesterday after he brought mayhem to his street and then tried to soak police in petrol.
Have you noticed how cell phones are banned at petrol stations?
Electrical charge + petrol = Bang.
So good to see the taser was used (?).
Pepperspray, batons, dogs would have all been safer options, but it didn't blow up, so it was a success, right? -

Common amongst Academics I respect is to use their name and PhD afterward if relevant.
In Europe the phone book has everyones profession in it, as a title. Academia became a refuge for many defunct aristorcrats.
