Shame about that baby seal moment but, he has exposed the Government for not funding legal representation, and that image is perfectly chosen as it makes me wonder if he is intentionally kicking the Government where the sun don't shine.
By not funding these people but funding Pike River people, and then Bob stepping up, it's almost spurious ;) -

Is there anyone she has files for, that works in Council? See if they can wrangle an entry as I know access is granted if they need you. It is, as always in this country, who you know. I’ve heard quite remarkable stories of how others have got in. As soon as the authorities need you, the heavens open.

Shifting this over from the science/complicated thread. Bart is answering every thing over there.
Just trying to think of a workable plan to help Cantabrians with the clusterfuck I am hearing about.Harm from loss of life is easy to emotionally grasp, harm from loss of income is harder,
Still, if the demo crew are pulling down buildings left right and centre, plus police are protecting this barricaded zone, why cant they assist people in if their premises are scheduled for destruction?.Let them in ,have the army assist removal of possessions, and recognise that each place to be destroyed gets priority for the shop/business owner. I would suggest it would be totally cost effective, sensible, compassionate, I could go on but I should move it over to other thread. Bart, you are relieved of your responsive duties. :)

Heh! I recall the offer being open. But then I'd only have one, and that would be... fewer?
