I've just taken a serious look through the political allsorts and taken a selection of different flavours.
What's the story with Cops on the community board?
Peter Laloli is the cop in charge of the Hornby Police station and uses his police email for council communications.
Nothing against the guy just it does seem to be a conflict of interest to be a law maker (ok to a lesser degree) and a law inforcer.
He only need to be a JP & hey presto - Judge Dredd lives. -

NZ Rail did work, although with great inefficencies, but that was the aim. Full employment and so on. Those with reduced capacity could push a broom, have a sense of purpose, a paypacket, & pride in themselves. It kept Brent Todd out of trouble for a while as well.
So what has Toll done for NZ? -

To use Air NZ of a mix of private/state ownership it would mean the intent is not to sell parts of SOE but rather buy back key infrastructure. Bail outs for bad management decisions = socialism for the rich.
I'm not sure that is what Key is all about. -

I thought Masterton had with Georgina Byers, but a heart warming fact that democracy can work & people are judged for who they are & what they can do.
