Conor Roberts is one of the good guys as well --- and he's the odd one out. Both Pagani and Nash are lower North Island, older, and wankers, whereas Roberts is Auckland/Wellington, younger, and reliable by all accounts. Ach the details are just gossip though really as far as that goes. But Nash and Pagani ffs.

And apparently Jordan Williams ghosted this lovely post on WhaleOil. The guy's an absolute scumbag --- let's attack women for getting involved in the political process? (Page 159.) No reputable media organisation should be using him as a commentator.

The chapter on the anti-public health lobbying is absolutely chilling. Also Martyn Bradbury gets played like a fiddle on pages 72-4.

I don't think Farrar has done anything inappropriate as such. He's never pretended to be anything but a senior member of the National Party deep state, which is a perfectly legitimate thing to be.

Yeah I always thought Farrar was unofficially official, as it were. I always read his stuff as being the National Party blog of record --- not always on the party line, but always in the tent.

Because "Cameron Slater's a wanker" isn't news. "The Prime Minister's office is complicit in Cameron Slater being a wanker" is.

Even if Ede/Slater haven't broken any laws, if the PM's misled the public about his office's actions that's a big deal.
