Re A2 - There is a farm near Feilding where you can buy unpasteurised A2 milk. You buy a refillable glass bottle and fill it up as required for about $2 a litre. It is full cream so I found it a bit fatty. But it is apparently very popular with the locals and I know of autistic and other people with sensitive digestions who can tolerate it better than normal milk.

I echo this. And thanks Russell for your firm reasonableness.
As the comments threads show, the topics raised so far on the Access blog really matter to many people and raise some significant related issues. There are not many places where you can discuss disability-related issues generally and have vigorous debate. So we need gentle reminders about the rules of engagement.

So more time in uncomfortable taxis at rush hour for more children with special education needs taking them further away from their local communities. Great solution.

The next big issue is pre natal screening for autism and deciding what exactly is the problem that needs to be eliminated.
