The key principles agreed at that time were that the competitions must:
Shouldn't that also include:
* involve the Ranfurly Shield

We were gleefully shouting "Don't worry, it's no holds barred!"
I believe what you were shouting was "There are no rules. There are NO rules".
At one point a man in front of us turned around with an incredulous eyebrow raised, as there were about 6 french players offside, and at least 3 of us just nodded sagely at him.
Not that I am blaming the ref, though.

And hehe, the washing instructions say 'no softener'. I've never read washing instructions that say that.
Well, we couldn't possibly have our All Blacks going soft now, could we??

...some weird sort of recipe for an ideal 'lady'. The ones I can remember were : crafts, public speaking, walking, entertaining, self-presentation (which was how to put on make-up and have good posture) and out of left field - flying.
Same. And of all those things, which spoon to use, posture, how to match your lipstick to your shoes, the one which has come most in handy in life is how to change a bloody tyre.
(And no, I wasn't taught to wait by the side of the road until a nice man comes along and changes it for you.)

OK, any list which says 'resist the urge to gossip' is totally bung.
I was more put off by "60. Create a Sacred Space"
-
I am also surprised changing a fuse is not on the list, mainly because that's about the only thing I can do.
I have never been more convinced of my own utter uselessness.
If it helps, Danielle, we could make that list of 'things a lady should be able to do', and then gleefully celebrate not being able to do any of them.
Can we do that, please?
It's been done.
In the interests of compiling a list, I found half a dozen similar ones. Most of the skills women should apparently acquire are not so much skills, as personality traits.
Things like "like herself", "be able to sell herself" and my personal favourite "Adopt a method for connecting with your inner self and getting centered".
Ack.

Unfortunately, I think the point is now moot.
Yeah.
<sob>
But for the record, I'm not sure, but I do think the combination between Smith and Nonu is better.
And no, I am not a nurse, and no, that question wasn't at all pervy.

He's a good footie player, but I suspect that is not the attribute that you want to focus on
I would love to focus on that. Emma won't let me.

@stewart On the contrary, I was flattered. Like Steven, I don't mind being discreetly ogled.
And yes, early starts come with starting work at 4am.
I am concerned about the dearth of Richard Kahui chatter, though. Anyone would think you people had actual serious stuff to discuss, or something.

I aspire to be that person.
Kowhai, you are that person, except also hot in photographs.
