But No Beer for Megan!
Hey! What are you, my mother? Oh, right, that whole not drinking for a month thing.....
<smiling nicely>
Um Hadyn, could we do it in August please?

So I can put you on the organising committee then?
I vaguely remember already offering.

DUNEDIN PUBLIC ADDRESS MEET-UP THIS EVENING!!
All Public Address readers in Dunedin are invited to have a yarn and a few drinks this evening.
Meet at Ironic bar (opposite the railway station) at 5.30pm. See you there!
How come you guys in Dunedin get a meet-up, and those of us in Welly don't?
<looks pointedly at Hadyn>

Haha, that's because we don't even know each others real names anymore...
I went along to some of the Saturday skates (and will come back when I get over injury/flu issues) and I don't know anyone's real names. I kind of like it that way.

@Wax Assassin:
ok, yeah, fair point.

Fair question.
Football (unless Americans is commenting on it)
Really? Offside, centre back, and yellow card would all be completely clear to someone who hadn't ever watched a game of football?

"Rugby was a problem for us for years," Mark explained. "But once our insider in the NZRFU persuaded them to try to market the game to 'straight women', we were set. Why do you think they train in swimming pools? The 2.0 model was doing really well too, but it seems to have some kind of design fault in the shoulders. We're working on it.
You my friend, are nothing short of a legend.

Deans was probably right to sling his hook rather than wait four more years, given he was entitled to think that an unsuccessful World Cup should have created a vacancy at the top.
Well, yeah. You miss out on a job you want, what do you do? Apply for another one. There's nothing to stop Robbie coming back to NZ in four years, or however long, just cos he's coached Australia. Frankly, I'd rather our coaches went offshore and got experience coaching international football, as and where the opportunities arise. They aren't going to get any better experience anywhere else.

No, you're thinking of Larissa Harrison. Broederlow is only my height, 9cm shorter than Larissa's 188cm. Yeah, I've never seen Harrison on court. Weird.
Ah, ok, thanks. And yes, to agree with Amy, once again, great photos.

Having forgotten the game was on (what's with not reminding me, Green? That's your job, don't you know?) I was forced to follow Hadyn's tweets at home, which was still pretty exciting.
At the half Broederlow is brought in
Is that the tall girl who never plays? Gee, that strategy worked.
