Wonderful hangover cure - angostura bitters and soda. At least, I was told it was. Didn't like the taste at all. And I doubt now that I really did have a real hangover.....

Can it be turned into a pocket park after the RWC is over with? Something the locals can actually use, rather than a pointless concourse?
The first time I went past it in the train, I thought it was a playground with goal posts.
Maybe kids could play quarterball in it later? -

Those gorgeous little sea dragons! I've just looked at that sequence - thought I was out of broadband, but that seems to have miraculously righted itself - and was reminded of sea horses.

Thank you, Matthew.
And of course, it's not bismarti, it's bAsmarti. (I knew that!) Must have been having Germanic (germane?) thoughts. Bismarck.

Maybe I'm reading this all wrong, but does this mean that some US company will be able to copyright something another company does, and then sue that company for using the name and/or producing their product? As in the case of the company that trademarked the name "bismati" and then threatened to sue the Indian rice growers?

but the thing about Laws is that he also calculatingly targets people he thinks can’t or won’t fight back – solo mothers, beneficiaries, rape victims, “black slugs”
Yes, all that. Mix that bullying up with his terror at being ignored (invisible) and you've got someone totally driven to even greater lengths. And then, it's as if our utter contempt = huge energizers for him. He gets off on it. It feeds his ego.
