But can you play the violin?
You know, I haven't tested that. So I bet I can.

This is very good news.
Thinking about how happy you can be for someone you don't even know, I would like to extend warm wishes in all directions to those who are reading that have recently overcome any of the crazy shit that life throws at us.
-
And I, too, am very happy to hear that you are feeling like you are back to the Emma we have come to know & love. Anything less would leave me feeling a little bit cheated.
Arohanui.

I still look like the aftermath of a Barbie haircut
Sorry, having two daughters who wield a mean pair of scissors, this description made me snort my coffee. Glad to hear the recuperation gathers pace.

Yay for medical science. Saves some pretty cool people now and then.
-
But can you DRINK? I guess I will test that out tomorrow. Look out, Christchurch. The Wimmin's First XV are gradually assembling...
-
The difference between my visual field results for June and October is so profound it looks like magic –
Oh far out, best wishes and congratulations on being Adric-free.
Adric - like Hamish, it's the sort of name that's more adjective than noun.

Yes, I can drink. That was tested pretty early on in the piece. Whether or not I can drink in a way to terrify cities remains to be seen, but yeah, Chch? Jo is incoming.
And thank you all for your good wishes. PASystem has been a positive force for my recovery, however 'woo' that might sound. And hopefully, if nefarious secret planning pans out, I'll get to meet a lot more of you face to face over the next couple of months.

It all sound good Emma
But (don't you hate pricks who say that) sometime in the future you will wake up and realise that you truely back to normal
It will take some time, I am just glad you writing seems to have your normal..........vim -

Like having twenty-odd cocktails between two people, then drinking four jugs of beer so we could get the fifth one free...?

You're an engineer, right?
How exactly is this unusual behaviour?

Performance Voice.
Though at the time we were both English students.

For a given value of 'student' - for me, anyway. Pretty sure most of my degree was in Bastard Gin or 500.

Ratio of cocktails to beer.

Fantastic that you are almost back to normal, if that is a word that one may apply to your very quirky, sweet self, Ms Emma.
-
Hospital, it turns out, is not such a bad place to be when you really need to be in hospital.
Hey sister,
it's a journey back eh? Recouperation is a trip in itself. You go girl :) -
Woo, hoo!!! Good to have you back

My first thought on being confronted with the phrase ‘vegetarian lesbians’ was filthy.
As it ought to be. Glad things are heading back in the right directions. :-)

3410,
To be honest, I'd kind of forgotten about the op, since you just sound like your old self, in print. Nevertheless, there's doubtless been much more going on behind the scenes, so It's great to hear that you've given yourself the all-clear.
+1 for the "vegetarian lesbians" imagery.

Yay!! It always amazes me, reading about surgeries like this, how crude they sound, and how magic the results can be...YAY for that!! :-)

Hooray for vim. And what are your thoughts about booklaunching? Enquiring minds demand to know.
