Enjoy an Irish with a chaser - that’s whisky with an E
I liked Umaga comment "Earlier this year everyone was congratulating Honiss on refereeing 200 games; I couldn't believe that he'd been allowed to."
-
heh. cmon, even podcasters can do the occasional bit of satire.
-
Free whisky? Well, if you insist!
"RWC 2007. You can't spell Drama.. without DRAM"
Wassat you say? Not my best work? ah well, best be off then...

Hey, looks like you can listen to live free(?) commentary on the IRB site now
Just under the teams on the right hand side. -
Glen Farclas... Wasn't he 1st 5/8ths for Scotland back in '73?
-
Whiskey helps the soothe the soul...especially after that loss to Argentina
(Actually I vote for Jeremy's one)
-
Fanks for the vote, I wouldn't say no to another bottle. I cracked open the one I won in the last round last night - nothing like that warm satisfied glow from a couple of drams over ice.
Seriously, you guys need to try harder - that stuff's worth paying for, and Russell (and the nice Galore folks) are just giving it away! -

Ice!? Good grief. Still, it was a 5yo, which is quite unusual. Nice, though? Michael said it was a "great dram".

Indeed!

Ok, here's mine, for the AB match.
"Bucharest, pull up a chair and enjoy a drama too"

To be honest I'm probably not in the running as one of the Dropkicks.
Speaking of Honiss, hasn't the refereeing been terrible? Or at the very least terribly inconsistent. The fella reffing the Samoa game this morning was shocking (and I believe it was the same guy who blew time early in Tonga-South Africa)

Definitely nice, I intend further testing over the weekend - school holidays are a trying time. I don't have the most educated palate as far as whisky goes (but I'm undertaking some schoolin'). I would feel dirty (not in the good way) letting coke anywhere near this though.

"Tired of warming the bench? Put some fire in your belly".
Or something, I dunno.
And Jeremy, if you want to take the edge off, put some water in it. It will cool it down a bit but not suppress the flavour like ice will. Also, it makes it go all cloudy, which I think is kind of neat.

Unshaken, unstirred, unbeatable.
Whisky Galore - no mixed feelings. -
A dash of water it shall be on the next tasting - I will compare the results.
-
Enjoy from hipflask with cold pie... Whiskey Galore - just like being there.
Howzat?

Rugby - Only an aussie would mix coke with something this good

Speaking of not leting it go, here's the YouTube clip with the supposedly damning amateur footage:
-
"Need some Deep Heat after the game? Try a spot of this"
"Pick up some Irish for a wee drop...like Tana and Kevan did."
-
ps. I know it's dram not drop but that didn't fit the pun
-
Scots make a fine drop ...
... they'd do better keeping it in hand. -
From beginning to end - a burn in a nice place: Whisky.
-
I really enjoyed the Tana extracts - great to read about him checking guys and getting inside their head just to mess with their minds. I really doubt my ability to concentrate in my own place of work with the possbililty of someone like Tana smashing into me.
And that was rilly funny about Stephen Jones running about yelling 'for our captain'. What a tool - the Lions really lost it out here, didn't they, what a shame we have to wait 12 years for another tour like that.
Nice work on the Hayman article, Dropkicks. NZ sport needs more satire. Alright.

"The warm, sweet taste of victory...whether we win or not."
