  • nz native,

It comes as no surprise to me to hear that rodneys a sniffer.

I've been aware for quite a while now that the man is a swirler as well

Being a member of the swirlers club as well as the sniffers club makes him a SS man.

When's his next perk holiday to asia ??????????

    Swirl away rodney

  • Ross Mason,

Dr Haywood doth jest with us.

4? he writes. And all of us immediately think that he has mysteriously mistyped Pi.

It could be e. It's natural enough. But then, maybe he imagined i.

I heard of a new way of taking e has been tried out in Yorkshire. Its injected into your jaw at the dentist. e by gum.

If Dr Haywood was having difficulty finding the symbol compatible with PA then maybe he could have found this useful.

  • BenWilson,

Dunne is already the square root of 2 major parties. The original irrational number.

There are more irrational numbers than rational ones. Fact.

Dammit Ben, you'll just raise the ire of the Herald with more of your fancy schmancy facts. Surely irrationality is the kind of thing that only a popular survey can really confirm.

  • BenWilson,

I had to read this (3 x pi x e x sqrt(2))/sqrt(2) x e x pi times, before my rational mind put it in the correct order. Initially it read like this:

"Surely irrationality is the only thing that kind of a popular survey can really confirm."

  • BenWilson,

So that error occurring never can, in reverse polish to write I often am tempted. Maybe that the reason is, that way Yoda speaks. It time saves. No brackets it needs. Over my digression is and not short enough it was.

  • Ross Mason,

The MP for Epsom was wearing a worried frown

"Worried frown" ....Is that a new type of hair piece??

Hide's forehead gleams with enthusiasm as he explains to me

......I thought it reflected rather than gleamed....

Roger and I used to pass around a tube of Ados S4,

......For those interested, I found F2 is the better shit. And model aeroplane ceeement is a reeeaaallly good bedroom supplement.

Oh, and did Wodney use his parliamentary credit card to pay for the petrol?

Quoth Hide: "When I snortle my drugglers,
All whingers and wankers and strugglers
    Do seem to my brain
    Little more than the stain
    In my second-best budgie-smugglers."

  • K. J. Aldous,

    " ... a tax rate that's an irrational number ..."

Not only irrational, but transcendental. That should bring stars to the eyes of not only Actors but even that bumptious grinning twerp ... erm ... what's his name again?

  • David Haywood,

Good point, K.J. And 'transcendental' is much better from a marketing perspective than 'irrational'.

Mind you, I'm not sure ACT would be up to date on such comparatively recent work as von Lindemann's proof of the transcendental nature of Π.

P.S. You've still got my gravatar, I see.

...For those interested, I found F2 is the better shit.

    indeed...

Growing up in Sth Otago NZ, it was practically tradition for the less fortunate of my generation to pass through the teenage rite of sniffing glue under the wooden railway bridge at night, by the water hole near the primary school.

Hearing the sound of the approaching train getting louder, seeing the head light through the slats followed by the deafening roar as it passed just millimetres over our head while we huffed and puffed and screamed our lungs out was exhilarating stuff, especially when your coherent mind is somewhere else!
