  • Daniel Carr,

Wow. That was amazing. I've never watched the show before, and it's like the best current affairs thing I've ever seen on NZ television.

You had 2 people with what at the outset sounded like opposing views having a sensible, mature conversation.

Seriously, why isn't tv3 running this against seven sharp?

  • linger, in reply to Daniel Carr,

Surely you jest, given TV3 management's track record in recognising quality content. More to the point, why isn't TV1 running it instead of seven blunt?

Seriously, why isn’t tv3 running this against seven sharp?

Because they aren't interested in people being reasonable and open to others' views?
Story is just as smug and smirky as the Hoskings love-fest seven sharp - it's what the market wants y'know...

    Mutton dressed as Ham?
Can someone explain Hoskings tonsorial and trouser adornment choices to me - he looks like some wealthy 'punk rocker' who never understood the ethos - sad...
(I do have my 'judgey pants' on, sorry)

I'm biased as I'm very pro the topic of MC, but having never watched Maori TV before, I am a convert, your dead right on it being worthy of a much earlier time slot.

Maori TV has some brilliant content including foreign movies and docos. A real taonga for us all - and effectively the last public tv broadcaster standing.

  • Alfie,

After saying on record that Andrew Geddis was wrong to suggest people could bring cannabis products into New Zealand, Peter Dunne has backtracked and confirmed today that he will not be closing the "loophole" which allows individuals with prescriptions to import medicinal marijuana. However any form of "raw cannabis" is still prohibited.

When I saw that headline I thought they must've door-stepped or named some of the senders of these emails, but no they just read them out...

Love the new opening. +1 on both Te Korero Karoro and Hot Take

Protip: do not neglect the sides of the neck while shaving. With a plain colour behind you, those little curlies really stand out ;-) (I speak from personal experience as a head shaver)

Just recorded next week’s one. Still giggling. Contains gingernuts and a fuckload of swearing.
