Emma’s rack is even bigger!
It's this dress.
But yes, slightly bigger gravatars, nice.
-
from the from page of system, how do you go to the last page of the discussion, rather than the front page?
Also, no navigation through the system pages at the top of the page? That's where you end up when you click through!

Emma Hart, in reply to
The "last post by" is still there, in small print under the name of the thread, and it's a link to the last comment.
But yes, I do miss system page navigation at both top and bottom of pages.

Great stuff. Except for the cat that is.
-
I can see all my old comments now! This makes me want to get drunk and comment randomly all over the place and forget where I put things as usual - and then be able to see what I did in the morning. Hurrah!
-
Overall I like the new look, but the post heading and people's-names font is really pixellated and nasty looking here (Windows Vista, latest Firefox) and there's something extremely dodgy going on with the line spacing in this text box - the tops of several letters are being clipped.

Oh woah that's kewl! I can see all your old comments too!
And I finally got my act together sufficiently to do meself a gravatar. Hooray!

+The all in oneness is great. The new features too.
- The text in some banners (eg Hard News, public Address ) is a bit too close to the borders of the background, perhaps centring it a little better . It looks chopped off. -
Ah OK, ta Ben, disabling Typekit has made things a hell of a lot better font-wise.
-
I simply ADORE what you've done with the place! It's simply gorgeous!
Nothing like a bit of re-imaging now and again....a change as is good as a holiday as they say.
Actually, I couldn't really give a stuff about the new "image" - the substance is just as good or bad as it ever was - with one exception. It's easier to read. -
Sue,
it's shiny
in fact it's almost a good as having a unciorn and better than having a pony and or dragon -
Nice.
Mostly just posting this as a test.
(Edit: Wow, you can edit well after the initial post.. this is 12.29 am.)
-
unfortunately, i’m with Ben. the font looks awful in my browser (firefox on window).
bye bye typekit.
the sickly yellow rectangles are where adblocker is working, right?
and that's all my gripes!!
for now. heh.

Looks nice. I miss the 'last post' that takes you straight away to the most recent post. As it is now, I have to scroll to the bottom of the first page before I can click the 'last' button.
-
Much better! Well done
-
And how does one diasble typekit? Because through my vista OS the font looks all kinds of bad :)
-
Crappo. Now someone can easily collate all the previous rubbish you’ve written and laugh at all your posts going way back :-P Not sure if I like all this accountability…
There is a last post button on the front page, it’s just hidden under the text that says who the last post was by.
Disable Typekit is on the bottom right corner of the page.

Sacha, in reply to
To turn off Typekit fonts, go to the bottom right corner of the page and click the word “disable”
-
Aha, much better, thanks!
-
And Edit works without hanging. Hallelujah

Can we have focus set in the comment box on click Reply please
-

It's still change. Might like it tomorrow. -
Steve Parks, in reply to
Typekit is a stain on the interwebs
What’s Typekit? (Sorry, can’t be bothered looking up…)
Edit: okay, editing works the same...good...
-
Cheers Emma, much better.
there's a bug when you click on someone and it shows all their posts.
Down the bottom you have older newer. Yet the most recent page is actually page 1, so they should be the other way around.

What I like about the bigger avatars is that finally I can see the photos some have used for theirs - like Kyles. Love that dog, Kyle!
