those new Aussie uniforms are pretty cool.
But pretty close to black in colour. What are they going to do when they play us next month? Oh wait, no, we play in Transformer Grey now, don't we...
Also, my son has just refused to have his baby-fuzz incipient moustache shaved off before beginning high school. Like all his other fashion decisions so far (both of them) I blame Daniel Vettori.

baby-fuzz incipient moustache
I call that a 'pube moustache'. Does anyone else?

his baby-fuzz incipient moustache
You need to explain to him that he needs to shave it off in order to be able to grow proper facial hair later on

I tried this, but with a slight lack of conviction because halfway through I started to wonder if it was true, or if it was one of those myths like 'shaving makes hair grow back thicker and darker' which apparently isn't true despite really appearing to be.

shaving makes hair grow back thicker and darker
Yeah totally false. My tattooist told me that years ago when she shaved my arm (here's a tip: never wax before being tattooed, no that I did, but it's just not a good idea)
But for some reason it works with peach fuzz. At least it make real hair show up faster than if you just leave it.

But you could try looking up 4th down plays and where they were unsuccessful
I would hazard a guess that by far the most often scenario for a failed 4th down is where a team has run the ball needing a yard or less and failed to get it or at the end of the game where they trailed by more than 3 going into the last couple of minutes.
I know that from time to time the punter fluffs it and spills the ball or the snap is errant but by and large they get through most games without missing a beat.

For the cricket tragics out there I've put together a bit of a statistical analysis of Blackcaps batsmen from roughly the last decade and compared the first half of their test career with their second half average wise.
I call it The Bracewell Effect. Movie to be released soon (in Australian sporting theatres first).

It's just awful.
Better? Or worse? I just can't tell.

How has this been tested? Twin studies?
(Imagine the research facility. "First Floor: ESP. Second Floor: Differential Peach Fuzz Shaving.")

I don't know which is worse on that... The singer who can't sing, or the fact that the song was written like 'yeah let's just get everything we wanna say into it and not pay any attention to rhythm'
