The tree painters were out too…
Purdy. Dip-dying day by the look.

Jos,
It's lovely when your eye sees the special things!

I see the special things often. It's the "capturing" I am finding a challenge. My own laptop rather than a shared PC will help that.

It’s the “capturing” ...Can I 'borrow' that?

Reflection from the biggest puddle, near Lake Ellesmere.
"Biggest mud-puddle" isn't it?
Nice pic though. Surface effects hide a multitude of sin.

Keeping time.
Would that be four o'clock or eight o'clock? : )

Glorious, mud or not!

Chris Waugh, in reply to
Eight, and the puddle must've evaporated by now considering yesterday's clear blue skies and fearsome heat.

A stunner of a photo.
@Chris Waugh: Much of the farmland around Tai Tapu, Motukarara and Lake Ellesmere (Waihora) was flooded by a rainstorm around the time of the supermoon. The water was right up and past the main road to Little River in many places when I was out there at the weekend. I have never seen it so high, and it’s taking a long time to drain.
