  • Sacha,

This is my son telling his own, unmediated truth

That's a really important aspect of Jimmy’s series for me (halfway through it as I am).

I’d love to see him helping others do the same, when he’s ready. There’s a valuable enterprise in that.

    Yes, really important.

Other cool things: getting a copyright takedown part-way through, challenging it and winning. Time was, he might have been thrown by something like that, but he basically wasn't going to put up with it this time.

Also, now that he's wrapped he was finally able to get a haircut and a beard trim : -)

I’d love to see him helping others do the same, when he’s ready. There’s a valuable enterprise in that.

    Now there's an idea ...

Has to be at least as useful as teaching people how to update their CV. Invoicing MSD is also satisfying in itself.

  • andin,

Im amazed at how relaxed he is in front of the camera. Well done.

the shitty, narrow, resentful “advice” being churned out to young men

Thats not the worse of it. I looked at some of his lectures on line when he was being feted as an intellectual of note. So this was a captive audience of young impressionable minds being taught this stuff as supposed scientific based knowledge from a tenured professor.
They might be confronted with questions on it, it was just anger inducing bullshit he spouted. I wondered were the university authorities aware of the nonsense he spewed or were they as stupid or as intellectually arrogant as him.
