I've spent the morning reading about ISIS and what motivates them. They are brutal but are convincing to many. Troops on the ground will play into their grand vision of a final battle and apocalypse. This article explains it well

That editorial made me feel ill, it was cynical and totally insulting to Tania - so what if she's a leftie, would they have been so critical if she was a member of the Young Nats? Now the Malaysian government probably has a case to say he would not be a fair trial anywhere in NZ.

Hi Robin, greed is not the reason - it was simply because we had a new camping manager, a new parking crew, some new front of house etc. It's a huge job to process that many people. yes we had increased the number of people but we have to because it is a very expensive production and without a few more people you simply wouldn't get the production values and the content that Splore prides itself on. Every two years the costs escalate - and we have to change to keep the festival viable. We take the feedback seriously and will be having major debriefs etc - but please be assured it is not about greed. People's experience counts first at splore
