Had a reply back from Freeview saying it would be 5-6 months before they had a PVR box available - from your comments Russell I hope they have something more user friendly by then?!

Actually a bit miffed off that Freeview didn't have a PVR available at HD launch, as I'm not that keen to fork out $399 now and then again before the year is out!
