  • Hard News: Bad men,

On reflection I guess we have different expectations of our elected officials. I want people who have strong ethics in combination with a decent moral code of conduct.

  • Hard News: Bad men,

Look she's my electorate mp and I expect a higher standard of stewardship than to allow and most cases support people who are involved in, financial misappropriations (tamihere), sly grog and underage girls (samuels), bursting in on undressed school girls and taping tennis balls into peoples mouths (benson pope), dodgy business practices (parker), claiming work that isn't their own (clark), recieving kickbacks in return for official services(field), get busted lying badly (dalziel), god damn it these aren't the people I voted for to be representative of me in the new zealand parliament. I voted for their party, labour, because I expect that sort of behaviour from the tory's as a matter of habit. So I'm pretty pissed at their profound lack of ethics and will retain the right to be so.

  • Hard News: Bad men,

The point I'm making is that as prime minister the buck stops with her. She has been prime minister over one of the dodgiest administrations we've ever had in terms of scandal. Obviously she's not responsible for his various indiscretions, to assert that would be absolutely stupid (away you go Mr Wairarapa) and I'm not for a moment trying to do so.

Yes, the flatmate wants to find a recruitment billboard and alter it thus,

" Get some baton work stories"

It's just not a good look, but while helen makes political hay just remember that she oversaw his promotion several times while aware of the allegations against rickards so we'll just have to wait and see as always, the teflon has to be wearing thin by now for this government.

I would like to welcome our visitor from the Wairarapa to the usually reasoned arguments posted here at PA. But feel that he may feel more at home here

  • Stories: Best Party Ever,

We had a house on ST Georges bay road in pwn-hell, it was a two story 8 bedroom monster of a place and was being sold by it's owners (the site is now home to some butt ugly apartments) but we had a party there that had about 200+ people, 3 live bands and a DJ as well as 3 kegs and a pallet of tui. we charged admission to people we didn't know and made money as well.
As for the most legendary attendance, I managed to sidle up to Neil and Sharon Finns 25th anniversary some years back, it was a Split Enz/crowded house/dudes/dd smash reunion gig in Mr Finns back yard, I was able to watch and listen to most of my favourite NZ muso's go for it all night that was one wicked party. They put flyers in everyones letter boxes to warn about the loud live music that would be happening and rocked the hood til the wee smalls.

and to complete the quote, the last line says, "pretty crude way to go about it." Which I think was the point you were making anyway, no?
