have been looking at some microformats for audio files. One of the guys behind the haudio tag has pointed people wikipedia's mp3 page regarding the IP bunfight. It's just another barrier preventing/delaying the implementation of a new set of norms.

In my own experience working in NZ (a couple of years ago), I can recall roles going unfilled for the better part of a year or more because we couldn't find a suitable candidate.
I just don't get it and would enjoy a "please explain" being put to the NZPA for their role in this.

the TCF and another party? eg (RIANZ)

To what degree are NZ small businesses already pretty canny about their costs, as an outcome of NZ's cultural identity?
Or is it a case that some of the prosperous 1st world nations are simply rediscovering oily rag economics that less prosperous nations haven't been so lucky as to forget?
To what degree may a global slow-down open the door for (cash rich) organisations to go against the trend of scaling operations back, by looking at it as an opportunity to put some distance between themselves and any competitors.
What questions is the answer "Knowledge economy" valid regarding, other than where can the government find some spending that it can reallocate to roads, housing & schools infrastructure spending?
After hearing the Kim Hill interview with Alastair several months ago, I am looking forward to hearing a bit more about Scoop.

Happened to see a repeat of UK Parliament TV's show, simply and so informatively entitled "United States of America" (& from the little I saw, seemed to focus on ensuring the UK & US acting as a bloc)
One of the great democratic impacts of information sharing was demonstrated in the comments from the Shadow Foreign Secretary regarding the inauguration events of January.
Out of curiosity, I looked on the internet to see how al-Jazeera was covering the events. It was covering the inauguration live. I could not help but wonder what impression would be gained by the millions of viewers living in countries where people cannot choose their own Government or rid themselves of leaders in whom they have lost confidence when that spectacle of American democracy in action was displayed in front of them.
When I consider ideas being shared, I'm thinking much more about a level playing field for news & ideologies, rather than creative outputs.
