I'm going to watch Kiwiblog with much interest. The anguish and twisting from the denizens as Wishart's story disintegrates will be almost as enjoyable as reading about the demise of Brash.

In that case, Don, could we hazard a quess that National is mixed up in here somewhere?

  • Hard News: Claims,

On the RNZ news at 2pm, a former police officer supported Broad's version of the night of the chicken, and said that Idour brought the film, and screened it.

Next? I'd imagine that a number of others from the party will have their say. This could put Wishart in a very awkward position, if they also say Idour brought the film. I look forward to further amusement.

Now what we need, to tie this all together nicely, is to hear that David Bain was at the party on the night of the chicken.

I didn't see much "benefit of the doubt" extended to Howard Broad by Wishart, or by most of the infestors of rightwing blogs, Craig. Perhaps we snould say, as they do "If Idour doesn't sue. it must be true"?

And your reaction to Ian using the man who played the film as a source for his story, dad4justice?

  • Hard News: Claims,

Naming sources is hardly providing facts, even if they have made sworn statements. Where are the documents providing corroboration? Where are the statements from other witnesses backing up the original source?

If Ian wants to be believed, David, he needs to start providing evidence, rather than publishing allegations, and assuming they're true. It's really quite surprising how few of your commenters understand the difference between allegation and fact.
