Shutterbug Joseph from today's Hagley Park nativity event (pic courtesy of Gudrun Gisela).
I believe that what he's doing is known as chimping.Case in point Smith's Bookshop owner only found out the shop was being pulled down, last week, when a friend phoned him to see if he knew about it!
So much for CERA and the council's promises of keeping people informed and able to access their property...
Well it would be laughable
if it wasn't so sad...Jaysus in a portaloo , after all this time. Bloody philistine ineptitude.

COCA still have I Love the Nightlife in the stockroom.
I love it too.
Spooky.
Hey appreciate the compliment, but that board was finished and, dare I say, conceived in a bit of a hurry. I retrieved it from the unfortunately quake-damaged COCA just before the February quake and have only just now got it set up for a repaint. -

Very kind of you JacksonP.
I’m not a ‘proper’ artist in the gallery sense. The pictures take a while so I try to keep the overheads down.
The first of those boards was sold through a gallery group show, the second one was a special order by someone who missed out on the first one. I have no idea who owns them, which doesn’t mean I’m not curious.BTW I've done heaps of technical photography-related stuff in the past, but I'm not a gifted picture=taker. Hugely respectful and appreciative of those that are.

i intensely dislike the bagpipes.
Well mate, you cant help that!
I love ’em (but I also love clarinets, guitars, and accordians, not to mention gongs, drums and flutes-)So it's not about striking fear into the hearts of your enemies.

Why thank you Chris W. Someone I've never met specifically asked for a millipede after seeing the first board. I was rather impressed by that.

1963 Ford Thames van, with some extras.
You're not kidding. In stock unmodified form those things were barely capable of pulling the skin off a rice pudding.

. . . guinea pig life and death not at all a childish thing to be set aside!
Years ago, when I had the privilege of garden guinea pigs, a little girl visitor picked herself a posy of violets and tied them with a piece of grass. As we passed the guinea pigs' home the boldest of their number stood up with her forepaws against the wire of her hutch and set up a clamour.
"Would you like to smell my flowers?" asked the kind young lady, charmed by the sweet little fairylike posturing. Before I could warn her Miss Piggy had deftly jerked the entire bouquet through the wire and was gobbling the lot. It's the ones with red eyes and mohawks you've got to watch. Some animals are evidence that punk may have a physical basis.
