What I find disturbing about Sensing Murder is that these charlatans sometimes point in a certain direction and start describing the murderer. In the one about the deaf girl in Manaia they gave very specific details i.e. dark, middle aged, stocky and then had acquaintances back that up saying they know who they meant.
Potentially they could point the police to someone who is innocent.
Admittedly, these so called psychics have never solved a murder case or even found a body anywhere in the world. Ever.
But maybe one day they could lead the cops in the wrong direction. I'd like to think the cops ignore their crap but look at the Christchurch creche case. It could happen. All this talk of publc awareness is bollocks. Ninox are a private company siphoning public money for their own good and no one elses.

I saw John Cale at the gluepot both 83 and 86...he played twice each time and I saw both shows. The Bruce Mason blurb says he last played here at the Gluepot. He actually stopped back thru 2 weeks later from Aussie and played at the Windsor (or the bar next door that's now full of pool tables). So altogether I saw him 5 times. A wee bit obsessive I know but the tickets were quite cheap. All the concerts were just him and a piano or guitar so will be interested in seeing him with a band backing him up.
Can't imagine him filling up the Bruce Mason but like to be proved wrong.

  • Bring Back Buck!,

'Welsh lock Huw Richards was having a pat-a-cake struggle with Gary Whetton'
What? You're either Welsh or on drugs (or both). Richards was beating the snot out of Whetton and Buck stopped the fight (with Alan Whettons help). Richards definitely deserved to go.

  • What do you want them to play at your funeral?,

Do You Realise by the Flaming Lips is good but I'd go Feeling yourself Disintegrate." but life without death, is just impossible, oh to realise something is ending within us....feeling yourself disintegrate" For someone who's not religious it fits in nicely. Once you're dead, that's it, you're fertilizer mate.
Maybe something ambient. Brian Enos Becalmed would be nice.
Or just to scare away the very few people who would bother their arses to see me off something like John Cales version of Heartbreak Hotel or the White Stripes Hardest Button To Button at ear splitting volume to piss off everybody I didn't piss off in life.
