  • Southerly: When Otters Get Famous,

Proud owner of lucky number four - although i have to wait until Christmas for my parents to bring it over with them, so please no plot spoilers! I've had the book dedicated to me - I'm sure there is nothing wrong with a 29yr old getting a children's book inscribed for them...

  • Southerly: Everybody Needs Good Neighbours,

Love your stories David - so much so I've bought both your books. BUT... I just wish they were more often :)

  • Southerly: Another One for the Kids,

    Fantastic as always David!

On an entirely unrelated note, I bought 'My First Stabbing' as a Christmas present for my boyfriend, who is now a Southerly convert. We both loved it; his only comment was that he finished it too quickly! Looking forward to the second book.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are feeling better. Happy new year all.

  • Cracker: No Kitty Blues,

I'm a bit late on the whole posting thing, but this post just made me get a lump in my throat.

We had to find a home for my beautiful naughty tortie when we left NZ 18months ago. Her new mum is wonderful and amazing and a real cat person, but i still miss my girl and get all teary eyed whenver i get an update about her or photos - esp the messages about the 4am nose rubs!

I hope you're ok and don't make the mistake several of my friends have made and get another pet too soon.

    Take care!

  • Island Life: Abusage,

One of my pet hates is when people drop the 's' of specific, pronouncing it as pecific/pacific - ggrrr. It winds me up just thinking about it!
