Done, not much but I guess it all helps :)
It depends on how cool you are, obviously. Please post your CV and we will judge you, quietly but with great intensity.
Oh no, the thought of trying to rewrite my CV for maximum impact is driving me to the heights of grand panic ...
(or is inciting an incipient slide back into the safe depths of lurkerdom)
On a slightly different tack - are there different levels for "lurkers"?
Which I probably nearly count as, being an extremely infrequent poster.
(although lurkers being arguably a lot less annoying in general than trolls or tinks)
The interior of the Sydney Opera House looks gorgeous, I've always appreciated it from the outside, but never had the opportunity to attend a concert. Hmm, may have to make the extra effort next time I visit to indulge in some orchestral music ....
The first Starbucks I'd ever been to was some time during my Masters degree (99?) and was notable because it provided me with the first espresso I'd ever thrown out. I don't drink milk in my coffee, but I'll drink most types of coffee (instant, plunger, whatever) when trying to work, so I was kind of horrified to be given a coffee I couldn't drink. Still don't know what they'd managed to do to that machine ...
Just to add to the list of people who will really be looking forward to your blog Craig ...
And I agree that I think it depends on how old you were when you first saw the movies - Return of the Jedi was the first "non-children's" movie I ever got to go to as a kid, and I thought it was amazing at the time ...
That's what you get for going away for 2 weeks.
(and commenting on a post that no-one's been near for 4 days - but here's my 2c just in case someone is still looking)
Mostly finding it cute, but having to adjust to the giant text (I'm sure I'll get used to it, but definitely less subtle in your lunch break).
I do miss the minibanners (?) that used to cover the links to the different blogs when you were reading a post, but that's purely cosmetic.
industy sectors convincing them that, say, mutton chops, cream and butter are 'health foods'
Mmmm mutton chops ...
Mental health food?
filled with quiet delight at your 12 book list.
and then filled with quiet panic and accompanying shakes at even the thought of being able to select only 12 of my books to take with me overseas
(I'm bad and came back from an 8 day trip in Sydney with an additional 6 books)
Hmmm ... what is this "outdoors" you speak of?
Could this be the mystical place where televised sport actually occurs in real life?!?
wanders off to stare folornly out the lab window at auckland in the sunshine while pretending to work.
