Vista is in some ways better than XP but you'd have to try it to appreciate why.
I've been using it on and off for a couple of months but in a VMWare environment Aero is out of the question as the VMWare graphics driver gets a Vista performance score of 1.0. So I think I'm missing out on some of the cooler features. From what I've seen, it's actually very similar to XP in functionality but does some other cool-ish stuff as well.
Haven't got to know the upgraded Search feature very well yet but in a corporate network with network drives, Sharepoint Intranets and Exchange 2007 it could prove very useful.

We see about 0.5% for "Codename Longhorn", but Vista itself doesn't seem to be anywhere. Anyone reading this in Vista?
I could do, I have it in a VMWare image on my laptop but I'm just not loving it enough to open it up. Disk contention is an issue with running it in a virtual environment (even with Aero off) on laptop disk and the Cancel/Allow prompt when you try to do anything tends to put you off doing anything.

Which I haven't seen but it sounds like I would enjoy. Doesn't sound like I'll find it in any of the local Nelson DVD stores though!

Unfortunately over the last 10-15 years Gregory has continued to suffer and you're more likely to get the off night nowadays. He's pretty shot up apparently, especially his once wonderful voice, and is magnificent some nights, and non-existent others.
