Did you know that if a councillor or a mayor were convicted and jailed during their term of office that they could serve out the rest of their elected term from their jail cell? Apparently no law to force them out of office.

I had the pleasure of giving him number 26 on the Health Board.

Ditto. I really like how a wild threadjack has turned out to be so useful.*
*This was, of course, my cunning plan all along.Of course.

We want concrete! (In the right places, of course.) #TheConcreteParty
Policies set in stone you mean?

And I really think the greenie-fringe-weirdo stereotype could be laid to rest.
Thanks Lilith. That is what I was really meaning. Mea culpa for a hastily tossed-off sentence that has led, when I returned just now, to a fracas about alt medicine vs conventional. Lots of interesting views on all sides.
I want to choose my medical treatments; but I entirely recognise that calls must be made about what is state-funded.
My million-dollar premature babies sure wouldn't have survived without high-tech intervention that did not exist ten years before they were born. Equally, every conventional medicine solution failed for long-term severe OOS in my case; but getting into "psychedelic dancing" as my skeptic partner calls tai chi chuan, alleviated and pretty much resolved years of pain and restricted activity.

It’s the “we’re the No Party Politics Party” bit that I find… let’s say “interesting”.
Originated with 2021, which at first was a genuine multi-party alliance. After a couple of drubbings, Citizens became Independent Citizens in the belief that would give the same message (now iCitz). CityFirst are dreadful in every way; even their billboards are horrid: Ali Jones will take out at least one of Button or Keown and my money is on both losing their seats.

I really, really wish more candidates would say concrete things
So do I.

FFS: Labour must be as threatened as National by the Green Party for you all to degenerate into a scrap about alternative medicine. Some treatments work for some people, others don’t. The point is do you have a choice of your treatment, or is all medical care to be prescribed by big pharma?
(I have reason to be very grateful for both conventional medicine and to certain alternative therapies.) -

Generation Zero
Bit late though. Last Friday would have been better.
