Off topic, but just wondering - why the good folk of Chch are quite happy to accept that their city is snobby and packed to the gunwhales with serial murderers and wannabe Third Reichers, while Dunedinites only claim to fame is a non-university inhabited by student alcoholic couchburners, and North Palmerstonians and Hamiltrons accept that they are indistinguishable from the cabbages of Sto Lat?
And we won't go into the provinces...
No complaints from any of them. Why are Wellington/Auckland so precious about their image? -

Fer chrissake, the target audience for the film is North American, 99% will have never heard of rugby and less of the RWC - They wouldn't care less what actually hoppen. Its a myth.
(NZ version of the film presumably wou;ld have someone playing Suzie the Waitress as Peinaar's Evil Mistress...)

I'll stick with that design rather than those faux-mediterranee efforts, thanks - far better adapted to NZ climate (hint: we are pluvial) - and the much derided 1930's state houses had quality workmanship and materials
