I heard several of them both on radio and tv, as Natrad was on half an hour earlier, and a couple - definitely Alliance and I think Libertarianz - were completely different. Kay Murray, Alliance co-leader, read theirs.

Aren't Arden, Sepuloni and O'Connor all having to fight quite hard to win an electorate seat? Especially important for the O'Connor as he has eschewed the list.
So it seems sensible to give them some positive coverage.

Eh? I just meant in relation to having kids push for something they don’t really understand or have opinions on.
I've never met a kid that didn't like mucking about in clean water.

What was truly amazing was that given such an easy question, Key failed completely to answer it.
Quite. In a wholly contrived, edited situation, they still couldn’t give the impression of him nailing it.
I was hiding in the bedroom when I heard him talking about roads, but I was appalled at what disingenuous waffle it was. I hope someone with more expertise than me (like Josh Arbury) will dissect his narrative.

Still, if you want to talk about perverse outcomes if the election was held tomorrow The Greens would get my party vote. Norman and Turei faintly annoyed me, but I wanted to bottle Goff and Key.
Hold that thought Craig : )

I slept through it, but apparently the PM was on MR again this morning. Was someone asking him hard questions?

If RNZ is to be balanced, it has to include a range of voices. Bomber’s opinions may not be to the liking of everyone all the time, but neither are those of Stephen Franks (for example). I hope that RNZ reconsider, but in the current environment I do not think that is likely.
Interesting then to note the total lack of "green" voices among panellists, as opposed to fleeting guests. I will be happy to be contradicted.

Same. Last date when Key was interviewed live on RNZ Morning Report would do.
He was interviewed following the recent SAS death.
I've noticed he pops up on MR for "events", mostly Bad News - Earthquake, Pike River, soldier deaths, RWC (?). Things that he's sure he can say soothing things about without the danger of being asked hard questions

And God knows I developed a wee man-crush on Dr. Judith Steinberg Dean, who committed the unspeakable faux pas of saying she though her busy pediatric practice was more important that making cow eyes at her hubby while he hit the presidential primary trail.
Wasn't she great! Howard Dean gaining the democratic nomination that time round is one of my favourite alernative futures.
