"Home" becomes more specific depending how close you are to it. If I was in Andromeda, I expect I'd say "The Milky Way".
And it avoids the embarrassing "Earth? Where's that?".

So, the reason PVRs cost $600 instead of $200 is... what, simply the MPEG4 issue, or are there other factors?

Goff's remaining as leader reflects badly on the whole caucus. If they think the current trajectory is good enough, I strongly predict an unhappy Christmas.
So, while Parker, Cunliffe, etc., appear to be saving themselves for that 'special' election (and Little is not even yet in Parliament) what say Mallard takes the lead for a year?

Fair enough. I may have been a bit defensive.
No, you're probably right. I did perhaps fail to imply that I wasn't talking about all 15 members.

Some of the people on that list are really nice, and even worthy ambassadors
Certainly. The sports and business sides of things are covered nicely, but, IMO, the selection of cultural representatives is, on balance, quite disappointing.

Still, you wanna call Ruben Wiki a wanker, then can I get tickets?
I didn't do that. I presume he would have scored extremely highly in the first two categories and barely at all in the third. :)

Luckily, someone has thoughtfully leaked the application form:
Auckland's first XV Selection Criteria:
Appointments shall be based on candidates' highest scores (out of a possible 100 points) in the following three (3) categories (in aggregate):
01. Sports legend (score out of 20 points)02. Media profile (score out of 40 points)
03. Being a wanker (score out of 40 points)

Not quite my area of expertise, anyway.
Nor mine. Thanks for addressing that. I see what you mean.

A trader is not stopped from selling Parma-**style** ham or sparkling champagne-**style** wine by this, but they do have to make it clear that it doesn't come from a particular area.

Even the term "méthode champenoise" or "champagne method" was forbidden consequent to an EU court decision in 1994.[11] As of 2005, the description most often legally used for sparkling wines not from Champagne yet using the second fermentation in the bottle process is "méthode traditionnelle".
