Sadly, this (yet again and again I am sure) is a lesson to all in, lack of information determines the out come. Unfortunately for Dunne Powell,not informing the hospital correctly,(causing permanent medical problems) and the police getting the info late, has allowed the media the chinese whispers they so relish and consequently, the judicial outcome.I support our democracy of benefit of doubt but a plea bargain is exactly that, it's a deal and I know Lawyers are very good at making deals and jumping to the front of the queue may have been in the deal because it (the case) did pop up all of a sudden this time Perhaps it's a good deal in her mind,finally her prerogative. I know what I think of that man and I will tell others.I'm not giving him anymore time on here.

I think the judge did a judgy job to the best of her ability with all information to hand.That is what Law seems (to me)to be.Justice on t'other hand.......
Also legal aid can get you very expensive Lawyers so money isn't always the case.
I do think he is doing a fine job of digging a deeper grave so keep ya shovels handy. Give him the helping hand he seems to be asking for. For Russells sake wait until Monday. -
I wonder how much time was spent, and at what the pay rate of the person spending it was, to save them $1.20?
..... Possibly $1.20 @ .40c per word saved.

It was really good to see a Hotel that was trying to step out of the mould that all the others tend to follow.We agreed, (myself and the lovely Danish guy running the place) that it was aiming for (and on fast track to achieving imo) the right atmosphere to attract people looking for that Hotel Babylon type of place.I was amazed there were 250 rooms and yet there seemed to be a personal approach to anyone walking in.I will recommend it to others. I felt comfortable and they didn't know me from a bar of soap.Cute Bar, great looking furniture (those couches in the vestibule to the bar, I could go there)Lovely jubbly. :)Think the zen garden could have had a mother of a rock though, jus' sayin'
