We're so lucky in this part of Auckland with all of the lovely new NZers who've added to our diet.
Get down to Tai Ping (behind caltex just along from Cedars on Dom Rd) who now have a food hall there and all manner of freshly cooked food.Well worth a nosy if you haven't. Also I am pleased we have a new Southern Indian Restaurant opening at the end of our street, which beats the old DTR that lived there before.If any good that can be a convenience spot as well. :)

Cedars on Dominion Rd has very nice Lebanese take away food, and their flat bread is very good value.
yeah, do all of that. Khyber sell all the roti and falafels from Cedars also but falafels are 75c and only 50c at Cedars and I get feta,olives,and many other groceries from Sandringham but you are right, aint Cedars da bom. I do 1Kg of Baklava (??) as desserts for coffee at my own or others dinner parties.All their food is beautiful.I am sure I have raved about this before.And yeah, I noticed that name the other day which was why I said I'd investigate. thanks :)

Hi Islander, I will get proper postal address as he told me he will send and I think it could be possible or you could get me to do that for you:)The fresh dahl may be a bit tricky but plenty of boxed ones although not as good as the fresh. It is a fine shop of which their biggie is in Stoddard Rd Mt Roskill, I will investigate.

Ok, same shop as the dahl, chick pea flour, falafel mix and water and wait 10 mins then ball and cook.Tis pretty simple, and lots cheap.

I like to cook, but sometimes I don't have the time or energy, so good-quality convenience foods do interest me. A good dahl that I can pop in the microwave for lunch suits me well.

Generally 2 different types or one can get The boxed ones of which there are plenty.Also fresh daily on the counter,is hot spicy parathas($2.50) and other such and fresh samosas.Yumyumyum.I'll get extra stuff of which can be frozen for those days I cant be bothered .All microwaveable.First shop entering Sandringham after Halal butchers on the left.Khyber spices.

Oh and also cops don't need protection from themselves. They are professional aren't they?I am sure along with many other personal queries they may have, they can handle this consideration in training, just so they wont question their ability to do their job.

I think you might find, as well, that this particular young man seems to have set the situation up, from all accounts. What on earth was he thinking, if this is the case?
So says the ubiguitous "they" via the cherry picked snippets of sensationalist info going out to the public although probably not in the best interest of educating the public about what a difficult job the cops are up against ;)
Matthew, we are adults and the public should be educated which Kyle just showed that some does exist.Because I know an ex cop, I have the privilege of asking him questions if I so want but there is alot that don't and consequently majority are left to rely on the likes of O'Connor and that is plainly wrong, which imho has tainted their image. -

Thanks Kyle but we dont get much detail. Do the family get the full report? It certainly is better than police investigating themselves like the good ol' days.
