Simon: I'm surprised with cars so cheap in Indonesia that the NZ motor trade doesn't source cars there instead of Japan?

at least two years coding 12 hours a day for Japanese electronics companies
Which explains the quality of software in a lot of Japanese designed electronics equipment.
Does Motorola use them as well - the UI on the RAZR would suggest they do?

On what grounds? Or do you exclude any activity where victory depends on a subjective decision by judges (dressage, dance, skating, jibbing)?
Incidentally, does the 9% participation in "motorsport" include street racing and general hooning around? And was it clearly explained to the survey participants that watching is *not* a form of participation.

New Zealand is the one country in the world where that statement is wrong
If you're half useful on a boat you can get a crew slot in the Solent (big UK sailing area) most weekends. Same in Aussie, I think.
I don't think sailing on someone elses boat is any more expensive than rugby - what's the subs for a rugby team these days?

Do we slag off bankers who work for National Bank or Westpac rather than KiwBank or TSB?
I think some of the Kiwibank advertising is borderline racist - or would be if it didn't involve Aussies.
Anyway, I find economic nationalism obnoxious, particularly in an exporting nation (where would we be without foreigners buying our milk, timber and meat?)

It's funny how, despite being a western aligned fascist state, the Singaporeans don't seem to worry about terrerists at all.
Maybe either they think nobody well set a bomb off in Singapore, cos it's illegal, or that worst case lots of people will get killed and that will ease their overpopulation issues.

Weston: what's the point of polls that ask a different question from:
"if the General Election was held tomorrow, which party's candidate would you vote for"? -
I don't think expecting to win sporting events is a very good basis for an economy. About as sensible as sending Micael Cullen on an annual trip to Monaco with a big bag of money.
Incidentally, do Germans consider Schumacher a "traitorous mercenary" because he drove for Ferrari rather than the German (sponsored) McLaren Mercedes team? (or the fully German, but generally crap, Sauber team).

"coterie", that was..

So Key is actually some way to the left of Matt McCarten and has infiltrated the National party by way of Merrill Lynch, along with a caotories of like minded lefties?
