As if to ruin my example, Joyce backs down on that plan in favour of a PPP risk-share arrangement suggested by the Maori Party. Still means taxpayers indemnify Telecom et al if the Commerce Commission sees a need to regulate prices lower than those contracted at the outset. Socialise those losses..

I'll also be talking to Mike Joy, the Massey environmental scientist whose warnings about our waterways were dismissed by John Key in the recent BBC Hard Talk interview.
It's kind of incredible that no other major media outlet seems to have done this.

it's myth created by a corporate giant that lemmings actually skitter to their doom, one that served a particular purpose and propaganda on an unwitting audience. apparently the corporate actually had a turntable set up, and were propelling lemmings off a staged cliff! "look!" they cried, "these stupid little fckers have no idea!!"
