I've not seen the Dom but all that is really required is to observe the a moments silence at 11am on the 11th of the 11th. It would have been better to front up at the Wellington Cenotaph at the foot of Parliment Grounds to do so.
I'm not appalled he didn't turn up but hope the moment was remebered.
Key is about to lead the NZDF, taking ultimate responsibility for their actions and have the potential to end up in the Hague for them.

Whether Mike Moore burgled the title of PM for 3 days 3 weeks, or 3 months he came nowhere near 3 years let alone 3 terms as PM.

Amnesty Int took to an email campaigned to Obama on 6 Nov 08 to close Gitmo. I'm sure a man raised in Civil Rights had this in his scope already but timing is everything.

Mr Obama said repeatedly during his campaign that it is "time for change". With severe human rights violations occurring every day around the globe, his new administration must show the leadership urgently required to stand up against abuses wherever they occur. He has the authority to turn back the clock and rectify some of the unlawful policies and practices adopted during George W Bush's term in office in the name of national security, including Guantanamo Bay.
Earlier this year we sent George W Bush orange jumpsuits with thousands of Kiwi signatures on them urging him to close Guantanamo.
Today we’re asking you to send us your message of support calling for Guantanamo’s closure - we’ll attach it to orange jumpsuits that we’ll send to Mr Obama urging his administration to bring to an end the American government’s seven-year assault on human rights in the 'war on terror' by
announcing the timeline to close Guantanamo

Bolger for one has growing credibility even after leaving Parliment.
Lange simply has no equal. Clark "I did not have sexual relations with that women" giggle - OK I'll give you that. -
If the farmers can hold out for 20yrs on the ETS all of the Dairy would have been out sourced to South America anyway and the massive profits can take a hit from ETS if they even apply there.

Come on, Key was raised in a State House by a Mum on her own and has a few issues about cash which is why he has over compensated so much as the rich mans used car salesman does.
Does anyone know where the house Key grew up in is?

Agreed, I went around and a mate & his girlfriend who were in the "didn't give a shit" mode. She's ex-West Coast which reflects Labours turn out there.
