Yes, I've just realised (it's hot and I'm tired okay) that using my real name means I'm completely unconnectable with my normal internet pseudonym. It's like having a whole NEW pseud. I mean, it's not like this magic box connects with the real world in any way.

A friend of my then-boyfriend who killed himself in a particuarly 18-24 male kind of way actually HAD Another One Bites the Dust played at his funeral. His mum took some persuading, but Rob was a huge Queen fan and it was clearly 'what he would have wanted'.

When I was a kid, it was okay to throw a mattress in the back of a station wagon and let the kids sleep on it during long trips. There were no seat belts in the back seats of cars. Twenty years on, would anyone consider requiring children to wear seatbelts to be unnecessary nannying?
