You mean the Standard and Poors issue? It was covered well on TV3.
Indeed it was. Thanks for the tip, it's here

I presume he is making the most of the platform and going 'all out'.
Which is, imho, deathly boring, can't RNZ come up with a format that's more interesting or is that Focus on Politics?

I've stopped reading the Standard. There's probably still some good stuff there, Redlogix is a great writer, but the comments are no better there than at kiwiblog.
ETA ... and that's a pity

And that really is the issue. The Prime Ministers and other senior ministers will not front for serious questioning about what they're doing
And if that's annoying, why's it not showing up in the polls? Though it's not the solution, does he have a weekly post-Cabinet session?

I do think Bomber may have been due a word in his ear. If I were producing or presenting The Panel I would not allow him to simply read out one of his own blog posts in its entirety. Guests are meant to engage with the programme, not just use it as a megaphone.
He's no worse than Hooton frankly... shrill but hardly warranting a ban. Why must political commentary follow this format with overt partisans? Hooton's transparently a booster for NACT and Williams and Bradford are clearly associated with political parties.

I know it's slightly incongruent with the previous debate, can I recommend Simon Power's valedictory speech, it's very good and shows we've lost a very good parliamentarian.

I'm less informed on his faults and failures than I might be, however, for the moment I'm quite content to celebrate an inspiring life. May we all have such adventures. Vale.
