@martinb: You've exhausted your patronising dick credits for the quarter, buddy.

Not really Craig but what's the point? Spade a spade innit? If a "brush off" is acceptable to the Speaker of the House, then a whole lot more will emerge. Jus' sayin' cos I can't be bothered arguing.

True but I would then work on getting someone like Laila to front for Labour as she is well known and seems reasoned lefty middle of the road.Or give it to Phil Twyford.

    WRT TeAtatu
Even if CC stays and wins as an independent , I can't imagine him swinging to the right just for fun,(or is he a narcissist) so why would it matter in parliament?I mean MMP is about numbers, not particular parties as has been shown. Laila Harre will try for TeAtatu surely. Could she be a Labour candidate if the party needs faithful Labour. Alliance and Labour have always been in each others pockets anyway?

  • Southerly: Confessions of a Social Retard,

I get told I'm weird here in NZ a lot more than I did in Canada, but those may be cultural differences. Not sure.

Possibly is cultural, as I get that a bit too and hope that's it, but I have noticed and just so you know Dyan, I think you are a pleasure to be around, so keep up your good ways. :)

I got an electorate mailout from Grant Robertson last week - it is quite clear that not only is Labour campaigning against all GST, they are also campaigning against there being any charge for electricity or rates and a bunch of other things as well.

Maybe he was unintelligible, but Goff also suggested we could look at no GST for fresh fruit and veg. Now, I understood, which should suggest he was, intelligible.

  • Southerly: Confessions of a Social Retard,

Sooo, do I require an invite to the Great Blend RB or will I gate crash? Have I missed a thread that has mentioned the venue?

    5. Only people who are see themselves as shy would bother with the test, the rest haven't spoken up.

Nah. I did it out of curiosity and I am not shy (don't ya think?). Also my other half did it but then analysed every second question and queried the probability of situations and the accurateness of the way questions were phrased/worded. Then he got 29 and decided the points were, well, completely pointless so passed it over, kinda like lent.

  • Southerly: Confessions of a Social Retard,

Oh, shit! Did I say that out loud?

I heard, and remind me to lock you outside next time Gorillaz is on and everyone else is dancing at our gatherings 3 4. ;)

.I think we're onto something here.

I actually cant dance either but if everyone is and the mulled wine has sunk in, it certainly is easier to throw caution to the wind.
