why the music industry all the time. its almost more film and software and games as measured by volume on these sites.
The debate in the software industry have been going on for a long time. However, this thread has spent a long time talking about S92 which has largely been introduced in a very underhand, non-NZ way by the music industry.
The software industry, no matter what its views on piracy, are largely united in their belief that the enforcement mechanisms in S92 are unworkable.

They shouldn't be shaking their heads around like that.
Nevermind their heads. JT's sugar lumps were a tad off-putting.

Once again, I am the type of interesting medical specimen that makes health professionals say 'hey, come and have a look at this!'.
Colour blindness tests were like that for me. 'Oh, I've never had anyone fail *all* of them before, Doctor, come and have a look at this.' Curtailed my flying career and electrical work still a weak point on the DIY front.
A very close acquaintance of mine (let's call her "Amy") did her driver's license eye-test with her good eye open the whole time because she "misheard" the instructions.
Has to be done if you wear glasses as the things are not set up correctly. You only get suckered into an expensive AA stipulated eye test once in your life.

Great to come back and catch up on the Great Nigger Debate.
/me gives up reading Conrad.
More seriously, Giovanni & Chis Rock are right.

I believe he has been comparing his dazzling conquest of Mr Christie to the efforts of Guido in revealing the scandal that may yet end Gordon Brown's political career.
I am confused then. I thought blubber and a certain religiously inclined investigator were the favoured organs for getting smears out into the public eye. Indeed, given the landscape in NZ I was surprised (and delighted) so much fuss was being made about this issue in the UK.

you won't see peoples ISP addresses on those babies, but there might be some other way of detecting them.
So the legislation is out of date already? Surprise. However, not all wasted effort. If RIANZ & APRA can cut off the people too stupid to use these clients we may end up with a Darwinian survival of the smartest on the Internet. Cut out the dross, wouldn't you say?

But, hype, does at least give a link to Amazon which is selling DRM free versions of the artist at 99cents a pop. Which is rather nice.
