Equally and unsurprisingly weird
And both are Texans.

To be fair, there has been one guest opinion piece in defence of sex education.
Sure. Which makes the Herald about as appetising as a turnip, liver, brussel sprout and bacon burger.
We’ll be signing up for ethics as soon as its available.
IMO, what Kiwi kids most need is not ethics classes but logic classes. :)

My favourite aspect of all this?
Almost everyone on Your Views bases their opinions about the reality of sex education in New Zealand schools entirely on the comments of "grubby-stuff-dad" and "pregnant teenager". -
So far, the Government appears to believe that any outrage arising from the rank injustice of favouring the interests of insurers over homeowners can be contained.
So far, it has been contained. Personally, I'm surprised.

I’m beginning to think we all both at a margin and a center – it all depends on where you’re standing, and how self-aware you are that “normal” is a minefield.

Chris Trotter describes the longer historic background since the 1940s about why Auckland has built motorways rather than rail.
And how do you rate this bit for honesty of interpretation?
Had the Labour Party won just 50,000 more votes in the 1949 general election, that blueprint would have become reality, and Auckland would now be a very different city.
The guy's an embarrassment, IMO.

There are obvious coordination failures
Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but what chance do we have of coordination success when each CCO has their own agenda, and apparently only "big picture" direction from the actual council?
