  • Voting Local 2010,

Jaw dropping, but par for the course.
I also strongly suggest a wee look at the self selected popularity polls putting Side-show ahead of Anderton.

    Dear Canterbury Public Issues Forum,

A constituent has written to me:

"Bob Parker kicked off a high-ranking police officer - Inspector Craig
McKay - who is in charge of Operations (including emergency planning),
off a helicopter flyover of the Christchurch Quake Zones on Sunday 05
September 2020 so his wife could go on the trip.

The flight had room for 3 people. These were to be Superintendent Dave
Cliff (District Commander of Canterbury), Mr Bob Parker (Mayor) and
Inspector Craig McKay (Operations Services Manager, Canterbury
District), but Mr Parker’s wife took the place of Mr McKay at Mr
    Parker's insistence."

    - In the interests of public safety, retire the current Mayor of
    Christchurch, now!

    Rik Tindall
Canterbury regional councillor in exile, displaced representative for
    regional civil defence
    Christchurch mayoral candidate

"off-limits for 3 or 4 days after the quake, because of some structural problem with the east stairways."

That sounds like failure to me.

    This isn't Gerry-Maunder it's more Jerry-can.

    What wiki says:
The history of the Jerrycan is notable because it was reverse engineered during World War II. The name of the jerrycan reveals its German origins (Jerry being a disparaging wartime name for Germany and Germans).[7]

This is the reverse engineering of democracy, pulling it apart and seeing how it works. If only I trusted Gerry to know how to put it back together again.

  • Voting Local 2010,

Bob Parker is not giving interviews as the poor bloody Bexley Residence set-up to sue the CCC.

So much for opposing it in Court Bob. It seems the only ones to opose it were the original residence & a scientist, I wonder what that was about?

  • Up Front: Lessons from Nature,

I'm reliably told Victoria St is where many demolitions of heritage buildings were done without authority.

The Demolition Companies had to be removed from cordoned areas and lets not forget - assult with a digger.

Last time I heard of that was in the sand pit at kindy.

  • Busytown: The shakes,

Rumour Central to Rumour Control over,

Is it true the Athfield designed UC Commerce buildings fire escape failed (east side) in the Earth Quake?

The Mayoress actually kept the Structual Engineers from meeting the Mayor for days?

Bob Parker owns the PR firm that arranged for Athfield to come south?

These are from a reliable source but pretty incredible, I would love these confirmed.

    Rumour Central waiting out.

  • Cracker: Strike Nine (and counting),

Presuming the death of ACT, does that mean National will cover the right wing?

If they do, will they leave the all impotent Central position?

Or will we move to the left as a country, the death of free market policies everdent for all to see?
