  On a tiki tour around the North Island a couple of friends wanted to stop over at Ruatoria.Their family were restoring this Marae on the beach. We all slept there for the night, then we continued on around the North Island the next afternoon.
  Magnificent place. Took the horses down to the beach and were served Paua cooked in butter and garlic. Lovely place, lovely people, lovely hospo. :)

  The weird bit was that the whole town (Population 450 ish) had chevs. It was delightful.
  Ok so in my past life I was co owner of this 57' Bel Air.Him like the car are long gone.

  After staying the night in the small town, (we had been snowed in, roads out of town closed), Albert found me a brand new rocker arm on a Sunday ,fitted it a gifted me a new badge for the front. We proceeded to LA and got there in time to miss the reggae festival I had planned to see.

  This is a car I bought in the US of A . I drove route 66 from Kansas to LA with my lil' bro'. We had a problem just outside of Flagstaff. Turned out to be the rocker arm. Pulled into a tiny blink and miss it town (and forget the name town) The first garage we found had the red custom chev that the mechanic owned out side.
  Me: "Was wondering if you could help me and my car?"
  Albert: "That depends on entirely what sortsa car you drive miss"
  Me : I have a 56' chev
  Albert: "Hells, bring her on in"

  And as for the oranges..

  “Us and them” in society is not healthy no matter what way you want to polish it, it still stinks.This feels like we are going backward x 100 years. Geez ,what if you are bright? What if you are black? where will it end? :(
  I should add, if you want to run a private school ,go to it. State school isn't private and I don't trust the abuse that is starkly obvious.

  Crikey, hope your dad’s Ok

  He is better today. His dog coming home made a huge difference. He's getting on and is just coming to terms with that although his family all lived past 100 so far, so 76 is still young in his eyes. :)
