Campbell continues to make the same fundamental mistake that AE are making - Jackson is the wrong target. It's bizarre how much people aren't listening.
Also, arguing that LBSPGS is the reason for this trouble when it patently is not is hardly a good argument for increasing it.

I earlier defended both Goff and Key since I believed that neither agreed with Henry and that it served no useful purpose in combatting racism to crowbar this into partisan politics.

I think that's a little unfair to both Key and Goff. My impression was that they both disagreed with what Henry said.

i think the US film unions have been quite upfront about what they want.
The way unions and studios operate might sort of work in Hollywood but it would not work here. It's too small an industry.

nudity issues are negotiated via ones agent, there's no possible or desirable way to have a collective agreement.
But the NZ union look like they want to own this. I think Jennifer Ward-Lealand is opertating outside her skill set but the CTU have been giving very poor advice - and they are operating within their skill set.

He's not the most modest person but he did challenge some very entrenched, ruthless and irrational powers in Academia when there wasn't a lot of support.
