Capture: Roamin' Holiday, in reply to
I once was told by someone somewhere that Wellington has the highest per capita sales of Joy Division of anywhere in the world.

I'm interested in hazel coppicing for the sapling wood to build garden structures, but I have no idea how long it takes to grow in Canterbury. Pussy willow has been used for coppicing at the BHU at Lincoln Uni; not sure about its firewood potential. The Donaghy shelterbelt at the BHU has a good design and is well worth studying.

I could offer a pair of 14-year-olds who, with judicious and fairly reasonable applications of $20 notes and interesting conversation, are good at heaving, shoving and demolishing. Sometimes they even work for free. Taught demo by their daddy ( who is known to the sainted one).

I do hope some of these demolitions have had fixed timelapse records that may surface someday as a video...

I suggest we put the Christchurch rebuild in Bob's hands. Amazing piece of craftsmanship!
I'm pleased to hread that you are heading future-wards. I'm still trying to resurrect the laptop with shelterbelt info for you that is imprisoned in its beady little heart.

What a good idea (and then we could play them backwards too).

Makes it all worthwhile getting it cleared then :-)
A mission? It was good because you captured Gerard very well, and Roger Sutton. Ceismic looks to be a fine thing too.
Nothing to stop a wee gathering at Mollett Street taking place -- I know of a sentient Android still extant and it's just outside the cordon. Gap Filler?

Christchurch's musical heritage has, indeed, suffered badly.
Beloved and I went and danced a little at Mollett Street not long ago. Even though the building was gone, the vibe was there.
That Media 7 was great; thanks I missed it on tv

Chills my spine that does.
